lofty ideals of amicable dispute resolution and open debate, it is startling to observe that the environmental impact involved in the conduct of international arbitrations has received little attention.\u00a0 This is not to suggest that the international arbitration community has completely ignored the issue, but the focus has been on policy-based issues relating to\u00a0<a class=\"wpel-icon-right\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kluwerarbitration.com\/document\/kli-joia-360105?q=climate%20change\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">c<\/a>limate change, for example, the International Bar Association\u2019s\u00a0Report on Climate Change Justice and Human Rights, or the ICC\u2019s publication entitled\u00a0<a class=\"wpel-icon-right\" href=\"https:\/\/2go.iccwbo.org\/dispute-resolution-and-climate-change.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Dispute Resolution and Climate Change: \u00a0The Paris Agreement and Beyond<\/a>. \u00a0These are all positive developments and must be welcomed, however, the stark reality is that there has been an absence of discussions about efforts that must be made at a personal level to address the carbon footprint as we engage in international arbitration proceedings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7415d03 elementor-widget elementor-widget-template\" data-id=\"7415d03\"
